Julianne Dorset, LCSW Assistant Clinical Director
As a therapist, I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change in your life. My previous experience includes providing outpatient therapy in private practice and an Intensive Outpatient Program, as well as inpatient care. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and their families. These settings have given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face across different stages of life and levels of care. If you're looking for a collaborative, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental therapeutic partner, I’m here to help you navigate challenges and build lasting change at your own pace.
Grounded in a person-in-environment framework, I explore the interplay between your thoughts, behaviors, identity, and relationships. Together, we look at patterns that may no longer be serving you and work toward developing insight and clarity so you can move toward the life you want to live.
I have experience treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. I tailor my approach to each individual, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities based on what best fits your needs, goals, and personal style.
